Aggranite quartz granite sinks are made of up to 75% natural quartz sand which is the hardest component of granite which is why our sinks are so durable and robust. The remaining portion is made up of acrylic which creates a non-porous surface. This is essential in creating a bacteria free surface.
Aggranite’s quartz granite sinks are designed to withstand the normal wear and tear of a busy kitchen. The hard surface will resist will a fallen glass or dropped knife edge. However, like any surface, our sinks will scratch if enough force is applied by a sharp object.
The quartz granite material that makes our Aggranite sinks so durable is also non-porous which makes it naturally stain-resistant. However, exposure to a liquid for a long enough period of time can potentially cause staining. For example red wine, acidic juices, or cleaning chemicals left sitting on the sink’s surface for long periods of time can cause discoloration.
No, available colors vary depending on the model of sink.
Our top/dual mount sinks are designed to be installed as either a top-mount sink or an undermount sink. Our undermount sinks are designed to be installed as undermounts only.
No, only certain sink models have grids that fit them.
Yes. Our sink grids can be used in any sink if the dimensions are correct. However, the shape of the grid and the drain hole may not fit the sink bowl perfectly if it was not designed for it. Please check the dimensions for each grid to ensure it has the desired fit for your sink.
The gauge numbers refer to the thickness of the steel. The lower the number, the thicker the steel. So a 16 gauge sink will be thicker than an 18 gauge sink.
